Rare Edison Screw Electric Light Bulb with original Holder 1899-1901

Good carbon Filament .  excellent condition. Probably Edison Consolidated Light Co.

Unmarked, 135 V 25. Rare white china cap infill ( not plaster ).

This Lamp is extremely interesting having had a replaced carbon filament ( which was

often the practice if a lamp blew ), Being so expensive it paid to have a lamp repaired and not buy

a replacement,

Although I can not take a clear photograph of the envelope, If you look carefully  at the glass

envelope near the base, you can see where the glass has been taken out and replaced to

enable to put in a new carbon filament. This is not visible enough to photograph.  

The Holder is an original plug in type. which I have never seen before. almost in new condition.

Lamp 12.5 cm including pip. with holder 18cm. Length of the holder 8cm.
